SUSAN VON GIETZEN NURSING SCHOLARSHIP FOR SINGLE MOMS

The spirit of this scholarship is to help young mothers who are pursuing a nursing degree. Single mothers have many responsibilities and challenges as they juggle school and family, and they often have little outside help. This scholarship is in memory of Susan Von Gietzen, an amazing single Mom who never had the chance to realize her dream of earning a college degree.
- Enrolled in the Nursing Program at Palomar College in semester awarded
- Demonstrate financial need
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
- U.S. Citizen
- Preference to female and single parent
