-Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
-Enrolled at Palomar College at time of awarding
-Must have financial need
-First generation college student
-Interest in social justice and the study of race, gender and multiculturalism
-Intentions to transfer to a 4-year university
-Preference: completed 30 units at Palomar College
-Preference: participated in student organizations related to multiculturalism or psychology
