JONATHAN DOWNEY MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT

At 22 years old, Jonathan Downey passed away of an unknown heart condition, 2 months after receiving a 2-year degree from Palomar College in Media and Communications. A scholarship fund has been set up in Jonathan’s name to assist students at Palomar College in the Media Studies Department.
- Enrolled at Palomar College in Spring and Fall
- Designed for a student who has struggled in the past, but now has found his/her career path in Media (Radio/TV or Journalism)
- Enrolled in at least 9 units in Spring and Fall
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Must be willing to mentor other students
