LESKO FAMILY ENDOWMENT

Late San Marcos resident Mary Lesko set up a significant endowment to provide scholarship assistance to students enrolled in the Nursing Program at Palomar College. Mary states “It takes a special person to be a nurse and to want to help others. I wanted to do what I could do- I feel like my mission in life has been to take care of others.”
- Must be enrolled in Nursing III in Spring 2or Fall and Nursing IV in Fall or Spring (of next year) in the Palomar College Nursing Program
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
- Must have a FAFSA on file
- Enrolled in at least 9 units at Palomar College at the time of awarding
- Demonstrate financial need
